Just a little idea. Don't prey animals normally have eyes on the side of their head? If so, that means these dragons are prey which really makes you think about the world they live in.
If you were to look these dragons in the eyes you would find that their eyes are actually on the front of their heads, it just LOOKS like their eyes are on the side of their heads, like a T-rex
